Cancellation Policy

If you need to reschedule or cancel an upcoming appointment please contact the clinic as soon as you’re able. This provides more opportunity for clients who may benefit from a session to book in.

24 Hour Cancellation Notice
Please note a minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel a scheduled session without charge.

Late Cancellations and No Shows
If you do not provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel your session, or if you no-show, you will be charged the full session rate.

Appointment Reminders
You may opt in to receive email and/or text reminders before your scheduled session. However, it remains your responsibility to keep track of your appointments.

Balances Due and Unpaid Debt
Fees for attended sessions, late cancellations, and no-shows
must be paid before booking a future appointment.


Payment

Honeybeam requires a credit card to be on file. This is used for our records, to reserve bookings, and to cover possible cancellation fees. Please contact your clinician prior to your first appointment should you have concerns to discuss alternative payment options.

Honeybeam accepts the following methods of payment:

Credit card, to be added to file and processed electronically
E-transfer, to be sent to info@honeybeam.ca


Insurance Coverage

Insurance Eligibility
If you have exceeded your annual coverage or your insurance claim is submitted and returned as ineligible, the session cost will become your responsibility. Please note it is exclusively the client’s responsibility to monitor their insurance coverage and benefits to determine if services
provided by "clinical counsellors, psychotherapists, or licensed counselling therapists” are covered.
Honeybeam is unable to access individual insurance plans or eligibility. Regularly reviewing personal insurance access and benefits is highly encouraged.

Direct Billing
Currently Honeybeam is working toward offering direct billing with select insurance companies. If you are planning to use insurance benefits a receipt will be provided to you following payment to submit for reimbursement. Most insurance companies offer the option of submitting receipts online and/or through their personal mobile app.
